So the season is officially over:( but Arsenal finished in 2nd and that is great! Although this season has been full of ups and downs with many of us frustrated with what we saw on our TV screens, we should all be decently happy with the ending result. For much of the season, Tottenham was the only team mentioned in the conversation to challenge Leicester for that top spot and it is kind of ironic now that Arsenal has finished on top of them.
What's next? Well if we are to look very far into next EPL season, the Arsenal Gunners should be one of the favorites to win the title and at least finish in the top 4 once again. There is much to look forward to just with the current set of players and I believe they will come back next year and impress the league. Arsenal capped off the season with a 4-0 win against a soon to be relegated Aston Villa.
In conclusion, I think every soccer fan Gunner or not would have expected something more out of the Gunners. However, throughout the season they it some bumps and the unexpected arrival of Leicester does not help anything. Leicester will no longer be seen as an underdog but instead an expected talented club and so Arsenal will be more fitted to take on the giant.

Season Recap
So how would we grade the Gunners this year? Well let's get into detail
Grade: B
Okay so yes I know this season was kind of disappointing, especially coming into the year considered a title contender and yet having to go through such a frustrating and almost mediocre season. It is very frustrating looking at some of the results this season and not thinking that we definitely could have improved our position. And so now we are her with one game left on the schedule basically locked into the third spot and yet there is still a unsatisfying taste left in so many of the Gunner's fans.
Let's rewind to the beginning of the season where so many of us had optimism for what would come in the ensuing months. We had just signed a world class keeper Petr Cech and so many expert analysts giving us some sort of edge for the title. As fans we believed in our team and going into the season everyone was just excited to see what this team could offer. And now we are here wishing we could have got something more out of the season as a whole.
But I'm not here just to bash on the negativity that the season brought, let us talk about some of the positives. We still have one of the premier players in the league, Alexis Sanchez, as well as a solid keeper known as Petr Cech. Nobody saw this explosion from Leicester and so going into next season we can vastly improve and maybe even a title...? Well that's all we have to say here at RGAFC and remember keep on Running and Gunning
Welcome!
Welcome to the #1 fans of Arsenal FC, or the Gunners,
We welcome any Arsenal fans or any soccer fans to view our blog, but really we'd like anyone to become a Gunner! Our message to the public is "Running and Gunning". We are two students who love the sport of soccer and support the club Arsenal. We also hope that even if you are not a soccer fan you can get a kick out of our support for Arsenal.
As of right the now Arsenal is third on the table and the season is coming to end with one game left on the schedule. The Gunners will look to lock up their third spot with a draw or win. We here at RGAFC believe that the team will complete this feat and finish in the top four giving them a spot in the Champions league next season.
In terms of how the season has gone overall it may have been slightly disappointing but a spot in the top four is nothing to sneeze at. Although the season may be coming to and end there is still much to talk about with this team and we will keep our fanatics here. To finish off we hope that you join in reading this blog as we continue to update and until next time keep Running and Gunning!
